Editing and export never leave your device

A real video editor that runs inside your browser

Cut, grade, caption and export up to 4K — with no upload, no queue and no watermark. Most online editors copy your video to their servers first. This one does the work on your own machine.

No account to start 4K export, no watermark No upload, no render queue

Why “no upload” is worth caring about

It is fasterA 2 GB file does not have to travel anywhere before you can make the first cut, and there is no render queue to sit in behind other people’s exports.

It is private by constructionClient footage, family video, anything unreleased — it cannot leak from a server that never received it. There is nothing for us to store, and nothing to delete.

You can verify itOpen your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and edit and export a clip. No request carries your video, because none is made.

The two exceptions, stated plainly. Auto-subtitles pulls the audio track out of your clip in your browser and sends only that to OpenAI Whisper to be transcribed — the video itself stays on your device. AI voiceover sends your script text to OpenAI to be read aloud. Both are optional, both are paid-plan features, and neither starts unless you press the button. We would rather name them here than let you find out afterwards.

Everything the edit needs

Not a trimmer with extras bolted on — a full timeline.

Background removal, no green screen

Segment the subject out of ordinary footage shot anywhere. Chroma key is there too when you do have a screen.

Auto scene detection

Long takes split at the cuts automatically, so you start from clips instead of scrubbing for them.

Audio ducking and cleanup

Music drops under speech on its own. Silence and filler words can be stripped from the transcript in one pass.

Auto subtitles

Word-level timing, styled caption presets, multi-language. The audio is pulled out in your browser and only that goes to OpenAI — see the note below.

AI voiceover

Type a script and get a read in a choice of voices. Also an OpenAI feature, and also noted below.

Multi-track timeline

Several video and audio tracks, overlays, stickers and animated text, with a real preview.

Reframe for every platform

16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 from one edit, with smart reframe keeping the subject in shot.

Export to 4K, no watermark

Rendered by your own machine, so there is no queue and nothing to wait in line for.

Three steps

1

Open the studio and pick your files. They are read from your disk, not copied to ours.

2

Cut, layer, grade, caption. The preview is the real thing, not a proxy.

3

Export up to 4K. Your machine renders it, so the file appears in your downloads.

Come for one job

Each of these walks through one job, and opens the studio when you are ready.

Questions people ask first

Is my video really not uploaded?+

For editing it is. Importing, cutting, effects, background removal and export all run in your browser — background removal on a WebAssembly model, export through your browser's own video encoder — and the file stays on your disk. You can watch this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and edit and export a clip — nothing there carries your video, because no request is made to carry it. The exception is auto-subtitles, which sends the audio track; see the next question.

Which parts are not in the browser, then?+

Two, and only the audio from one of them. Auto-subtitles separates the audio track from your clip inside your browser and sends just that to OpenAI Whisper to be transcribed — your video never goes. AI voiceover sends your script text to OpenAI to be read aloud. Both are optional, both are paid-plan features, and neither runs unless you press the button. Everything else — every cut, effect, overlay and the export itself — never leaves your device.

Do I need an account?+

Not to start. Open the studio and edit. An account is needed for the paid plans and for the stock library. Projects live in the browser tab you are working in, so export anything you want to keep.

Is there a watermark or an export limit?+

No watermark. Export resolution goes up to 4K, and because your own machine renders it there is no queue and no per-export cap.

What do I need to run it?+

A current desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari — and enough memory for your footage. Because the work happens locally, a faster machine makes exports faster, and a long 4K timeline on a phone is the case most likely to struggle.

What happens to a project if I close the tab?+

Keep your source files. Projects can be saved, but the footage itself is read from your disk rather than stored by us, so we have no copy to restore from.

Open it and cut something. Nothing uploads.

Free to start, no account, no watermark. If it is not faster than what you use now, you have lost a minute.
